Science

Rosewood Avenue is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Magnet with a focus on Urban Planning and Urban Design and we are also a STEAM Certified school.  Our young scientists, engineers, and mathematicians use the Science Lab where they use STEM resources and Amplify Science.  Amplify Science blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers.  Our students also have use of our Makerspace where there are 3D printers and resources to support our urban planning and urban design theme. The Technology Media Lab and 1:1 devices afford our students opportunities to use STEM resources online and to become technologically literate.  Our "edible garden" provides students the opportunity to also study solar energy, composting, and botany.
